1. Broadstairs Information Kiosk @broadstairsinfokiosk

A must visit when you are in town - they are located in Victoria Gardens, opposite Morelli's. Pick up the bumper Guide to Broadstairs booklet for a daily rundown of events throughout the summer season.

2. Visit Broadstairs @Visit_broadstairs

Check this page out for information about local attractions, such as the Crampton Tower Museum and the many festivals - Dickens Festival, Food Festival and Folk Week.

3. Broadstairs Beacon @broadstairsbeacon

Pick up a copy of the Broadstairs Beacon newspaper all over town and check out their page to uncover some of the amazing local businesses around Broadstairs and stay up to date with all the latest news.

4. Thanet Coast Project @thanetcoastproject

This wonderful not-for-profit organisation arranges several activity sessions throughout the summer including walk and talk sessions and Seashore Safari's - something our 8 & 10 year old boys really enjoyed. 

5. Broadstairs Pavilion @broadstairspavilion

A trip to Broadstairs wouldn't be complete without some live music. Through the summer there are free performances most days at the Bandstand in Victoria Gardens and another favourite spot of ours is the Pavilion, on the edge of Viking Bay. There is regular live music at the venue - check out their page for details of what's on. Head there in the afternoon following a day on the beach, soak up the sun, kick back with a nice cold drink and enjoy some great music.

  The school holidays are fast approaching, but even if it is not beach weather, here are 5 fun things to do with the family on holiday in Broadstairs this half-term. 1.   Lillyputt Mini Golf Just a few hundred metres from  our apartment  is the wonderful Lillyputt Mini Golf.  A staple of Broadstairs - it's been here for over 100 years - the heritage mini golf course is based on Arnold Palmer's original designs.  The Garden Tea Room, serving hot and cold food, as well as ice creams, is a must visit, even if you don't fancy the golf.  Open Weekends and School holidays from 10am (weather permitting). 2.  The Escapement This award-winning, immersive escape room venue takes you on an exciting journey through intricately designed adventure puzzle quests, just like Crystal Maze.  The Escapement has been voted the UK’s Best Escape experience and has over 2,500 reviews on Tripadvisor. Best for Fish The Tartar Frigate Set in an historic building overlooking the harbour, The Tartar Frigate is a traditional pub and, in our opinion, one of the best fish restaurants in Kent. Kick back with alfresco drinks by the harbour or enjoy a meal in the restaurant with stunning views of Viking Bay. Best for Pizza Posillipo Our family's favourite place for Pizza in Broadstairs. With a cosy restaurant and a garden area that overlooks Viking Bay it's a great place to enjoy a meal or pick up a take-away pizza to enjoy in the beach. Best for Fine Dining Stark The only Michelin-starred restaurant in Thanet, Stark is a modern and stylish restaurant, just stone's throw from our apartment.
